Advanced/additive manufacturing

Our Innovative Additive Manufacturing Laboratory conducts research on the optimization and innovation of tool-free processes such as 3-D printing and stretchable, wearable electronics that can be manufactured more readily than through the limits of mass production. Multidisciplinary efforts like our Center for Aerospace Manufacturing Technologies and Materials Research Center unite researchers from aerospace and mechanical engineering, materials science and engineering, engineering management, biology, and chemistry.
